Kusanaga Keita Ref

I somehow managed to produce a bishounen in my sketchbook a while back!  I was shocked he came out so well, frankly.  T_T;;  I originally had him in a fedora, but I preferred the ponytail (and I suck at hats anyway) so it had to go.   The point of this exercise was
    
     (A) Helping me get used to working with MS EX5 since it's so different.
     (B) Experimenting
     (C) Starting on refining sketches that have been lost and nothing done with.

Basically, I want to do a lot more pages like this, because I have a ton of characters that need references.

Keita is supposed to be a design student, and his dream is to be a shoe designer in the future.  No, he's not gay-- he does end up falling for his model Kasey, who is much taller than he is.  He's a quirky, humorous, and polite young man of 19.

Or at least, these are supposed to be the settings.  I was having too much fun designing a guy in colorful clothing.  Don't know what it is about blondes that makes me want to put them in pink.  T_T;  He might just look like an explosion of color, but it was certainly a blast to work on.
